Level of Detail (LOD) Tabs

Cloud, Regional, City Views

Use the upper "Tabs" to quickly zoom the map on the "Current City". Each LOD has content suitable for that view. The main area content will change when you change the LOD. You can change the "Current City" from the History area, under the SEARCH TAB which is visible while in the Cloud View.

Arrows to Change City

Each city you visit using SEARCH, will place an "Arrow" marker on the map. Clicking these arrows will make that the "Current City" and thus the LOD tabs will now affect the new city. The larger arrow will point at the current city. The small arrows allow rapid change of the "Current City".

"Right Click" Menu

If you "Right Click" an exact location on the map, then you will get a pop-up menu of cool things you can do. Like opening the location in 3D Google Earth or using "Where Am I?" to identify an unknown place you found while crusing around.

Best Workflow

"Cloud View" is for "City Search".
"Regional View" is for "Driving Directions" and "Points of Interest", like Ski Resorts.
"City View" is for "Business Search" via:
1. Keyword = Text Input
2. Name = Autocomplete then PICK
3. TYPE = Business Types via Menu

Ski Resorts

Uber Weather has approximately 14,000 "Alpine Ski Lifts", accurately placed on the globe. They are colored RED Lines, so they are easy to spot against the primary green "Terrain" map. This will allow you to "Visually Search" for new and exciting ski resorts to visit. If you are surfing the map and need to find out "Where Am I?", then just right click on the location. You can also view the ski resorts in 3D by right clicking. However, the lifts in 3D are colored "White" are hard to see. We are tring to fix this bug.
